Affinity CMS

This “product” has been in evolution since about 2003 when I launched our first ecommerce client. It has evolved and developed since then, taking on both ecommerce and full-blown CMS aspects with a comprehensive administration system, multi-lingual capabilities, multi-site capability, and detailed SEO capabilities. The modular architecture allows for extension of the system to accommodate almost any client needs which makes it flexible and very powerful. As it is first-and-foremost a content management system, it is becoming the defacto system through which Emissary Consulting deploys new websites, and with a license-based pricing model provides an easy method for clients to budget for the system over traditional bespoke developments.

As with most of my developments, it has its own website here (which is under construction of course).

Current work on the system includes the addition of extranet capabilities (including library repositories), extension to use CDN (Content Delivery Networks) in the cloud, further enhancements to the SEO functions, and a suite of designer tools to facilitate other web agencies using the product in order to deploy sites.
